Leah wasted no time getting out of bed the next morning and rushing through her morning routine. She had a lot to do before this evening to prepare for the mating ceremony with Ray. She hadn’t told her father or her brothers yet, and she had no intention of doing so until afterward. The last thing she needed was one of them trying to stop her and Ray from being together. Ray woke up at the butt crack of dawn. He had a lot to do today in order to get things ready for his mating ceremony with Leah and not a lot of time to do it. The ceremony was scheduled to begin at 1pm, so no time to waste. Francesca and Dallas were in charge of decorations and setup, while Dallas would make sure their pack members were taken care of. The pack needed to be briefed on what would happen during the ceremony and the changes that would occur. A wolf mating ceremony was similar to the human wedding ceremony for the first half of the ceremony where the couple will stand in front of there friends and loved ones and recite their vows to love, cherish, and protect each other until death do them part. Rage. Undeniable rage. The feeling of wanting to rip someone to pieces coursed through Theo veins. If it hadn’t been for her brother showing up, he definitely would have put that bitch in her place. Leah made her way to the clear located in the center of Ray’s pack territory and landed a few feet away from where the magnificently decorated tables were set up. There were a lot of people present already. People were dancing to the music that was playing over the loud speaker and she could see little pups running around, weaving in between and underneath the tables. She could hear their excitement as they noticed her and ran over to greet her. She quickly shifted to her human form with a smile and began greeting them back, giving hugs to the pups that asked for one. They were a friendly bunch, that was for sure. Leah had expected a small amount of reservation from the pack at first. She was, after all, a stranger to them and not a wolf. But, to her surprise, she was welcome with open arms by everyone. She received lots of complements on her dress and how pretty she was. She was really used to all the praise, so she just smiled and thank them with a blush on her face.Leah looked up

The first part of the ceremony was beautiful. The couple said their vows and the pack cheered as they kissed. They followed it up with lots of food and dancing. Leah danced with Ray for a while, before one of the teenagers requested a dance with her. Ray growled unhappily, but Leah just laughed softly. Leah stepped into the house and let out a deep sigh as she headed to her father’s office. Now that she and Ray were officially mated, she needed to talk to her father. She knew he wasn’t going to be happy, but what choice did she have. She was madly in love with Ray, and she knew she would not have been happy with anyone else.
