“Alpha Hakan, I did as you asked and delivered the box, to Ms. Skye.” Hakan’s hand froze a couple of centimeters away from the paper, his pen in hand, before he righted himself. He put on the pen’s cap, placing it down, before raising his head and looking at his delta, Neil.

“Ho-,” he let out a cough, trying his best to push away the embarrassment creeping up on him for letting his voice crack, “How did she take it?”

He was NOT, definitely not panicking inside, as he placed his hands on his lap and started fiddling with it.
