Hakan was torn. He was debating with himself whether to stay with his betrothed or will this thing be considered inappropriate, but seeing that they were to be wed in less than a month if his parents and Skye’s parents’ time agreement goes through. Hakan finished his sandwich before carefully taking both his plate and Skye’s plate back to the kitchen, washing and drying it in the process.

He returned to the living room a couple of minutes later, opting to stay in the room with Skye, not wanting to leave a sleeping and defenseless fiancée alone.
