Lily's POV.
Next day, Ryan gets the news that he has to go to San Francisco for an emergency on Monday. I really get pissed but try to understand his responsibilities.
"I promise, I will finish my work before Friday and we will go to the island together." Ryan says as he gives me a light peck on lips as I pass him his clothes.
"It is not about that. I just feel alone when you are not here. Even though Lady and Teddy are great company, they miss you too and that makes me miss you even more." I say as I sit beside his bag on the bed.

Lily's POV.The next week was going smoothly. Ryan and I got settled in our routine around each other.We would wake up together and have breakfast then he drops me at my workplace then goes for his company.
