Chapter 17 - The Missing Sheets
I stepped inside the room, where I could see that Apollo had finally awakened.
Apollo’s eyes were fixed on the open window, it basked his face in the morning light. He looks so striking sitting at the foot of the bed, like a model.
As I approach with folded clothes on my hands, he turns his head, looks up, and catches my eyes.
“Good morning.”
He cracks a small smile, but he seems nervous. “You saved me?” he asked in disbelief.
“Kurai did.” I said with a smile. “I mean, Shinrin.”
Yesterday as he was unconscious in the restaurant, Kurai was about to leave when I convinced him to help Apollo. I know it irritated Kurai to see me helping strangers, but he helped and say nothing
