Chapter 19: Jaymee
He started driving as soon as he made sure that Kaia was okay beside her. She seemed comfortable in her seat when she suddenly reacted as if she heard something really loud. He is not looking at her but he could see her reactions in his peripheral view. He has been so adept at her condition that without intending to do it, he seemed to always check her reaction.
He knew right away that she had switched when he saw how she reacted upon seeing him beside her. He could have stopped if there wasn’t any car behind them but he didn’t want her to feel more uncomfortable than she already is.
“Hmm, am I still with Kaia?” He asked without looking at her. He did not see the look on her face when she answered.

There would be more switching and we'll learn more about their personalities as the story goes. The trigger would be "loud ringing sound" so whenever you come across that phrase that means there would be switching. Jaymee did not wake Kyla up as she looked really tired and that she needed a really good night sleep. He was able to carry her to her room without any difficulty. Difficulty in a way that she didn’t wake up as another personality, she didn’t stir at all. He looked at her one more time before he left the room. One look at the kitchen and he knew he still had to make sure everything was well before he could go to bed. He just made sure that the things they’ve bought are organized. Kyla has never felt as secure as she is feeling right now. It was the first kiss she would ever remember all her life. It was just a light kiss as if he was afraid she would get hurt. She had closed her eyes and cherished this moment she could have with Jaymee. She wasn’t sure if this was just a heat of the moment thing but this is something she had been dreaming of.She had liked Jaymee since she learned how good he was to them.
