27. The Reunion

Wandering amidst some rubbles, Lui Xian observed with a keen eye as to what had happened to the village. At least what was once a flourishing village.

Burnt shuds scattered about, the soil had a deep dark tone and the nearby trees were half burnt with leaves tainted with smoke. At some point, Lui Xian spotted a map of dried blood and a weapon with traces of that deep red colour, that was close to black due to being exposed to heat for an unknown period of time.

"It's been two years since then and now it's like Qiu Yu Village has never been here in the first place." He speculated while looking around, memories piling up in his mind.

"Who did all this?"

He resumed asking himself questions he couldn't get any answers to. His mood plummeting by each second, each memory came crushing down on him.
