Eight months later ….

Evening 6:00pm …

“What’s wrong?!” Jayden asked as he increased his pace and moved up to Gabriella, she had spoken to him in only few words throughout their journey home.

“Nothing?! Why do you ask?!” She murmured in reply, he exhaled deeply as he stretched out his hands and held her by his shoulders in place to stand in front of him.

“Don’t tell me nothing Babes, I need you to tell me what’s wrong with you, are you thinking about your mom again?!” He said staring down in her eyes with deep concern, she took her eyes off of him rolling her eyes to the back of her head.

“I don’t understand, what’s this ugly friendship between you and Lydia,” she grumbled in reply not able to meet his eyes, he exhaled softly with a light chuckle.

“Stop laughing it’s not funny, you giggle with her all day, you don’t even pay any attention to me,” she complained further and he finally bursted into the laughter that he didn’t think he was holding.
