Elisia was so red from embarrassment. She was pissed with Thane, but she was more annoyed with herself. How could she jump on him like that? And why did she react that way when he pinned her down?

It didn't look like she was resisting. If she would recall what happened, she was anticipating his kiss. She had never felt that way towards Adrian.

She remembered the first time he tried to hold her hand. She admitted she didn't like it. They argued, but in the end, Adrian understood that she wasn't ready yet. She agreed to it after three months of becoming a couple.

Thane Cromwel was the son of Kristiana Verlice and a werewolf from the Night Howlers Clan. His mother was the illegitimate daughter of Sebastian Verlice, while his father was an omega, the lowest rank of the werewolf clan.

After they sat down, Thane put on the seat belt around her waist, making her heart pound.

'Oh, heart, don't do this to me. He might hear it.' She thought inwardly.

Werewolves have good hearing and a higher sense of smell. She was worried that Thane would find out that she was affected by his presence. She took a deep breath and was surprised when he suddenly turned to face her.
