“Madam Brielle no longer lives here. She left the house weeks ago.”

Anita’s lips widened into a wide grin that soon turned into laughter, tears streaming down her cheeks.

The maid stood, wondering why she found the sad news funny.

“Please tell me you’re serious. I’ll be really gutted if this is a joke.” She said in between laughs, and the maid nodded.

“Oh my God! Now, this is huge news.” She shook her head, clapping victoriously.

She took out her phone and dialed Ethan’s number. He picked up after the second ring. “Hmm?” He hummed into the phone.

“Come home how?” She ordered in a firm tone, and Ethan groaned.

“Why?”

Being the last child out of a family with five children had its perks, but it also had its downsides. While he was extremely pampered by both his parents and elder siblings, he had to be at their beck and call because, as much as his parents gave him everything he wanted, they made him understand respect and practice it, especially with his siblings.
