“I don’t think she wants to eat with us, Calvin . . .” Raine, still clinging to Calvin’s arm, mumbled, pouting at her mate.

Calvin stared at me and Elliot hard that I clenched my bestfriend’s coat even tighter. Elliot seemed to have noticed my panic and instantly took the hand I was clenching. He turned to look at Calvin before looking back at me.
