watching her leave with that smirk on her face got me confused and wondering how the mute transformed overnight from a meek sheep to a fierce lion."Our mate is finally standing up for herself."Rex said proudly making me annoyed with the fact that he keeps calling that mute our mate.

"Not now Rex, that mute will never be my mate."I retorted making Rex growl at me."Reject her and lose me, let's see how strong of an alpha king you can be without me your alpha wolf.rex said releasing his his alpha making me bare my head in submission.

"Don't even think about rejecting mate or you will regret losing her when you realize how special she is."Rex said retreating to the back of my mind."What can be so special about a damn human like her."l asked Rex, still annoyed at him for pressuring me with his aura.

"You'll know."was all he said before shutting the mind link."Acting all misterious are we"I snorted walking towards my private gym in the school.

I was in the middle of lifting weights when I received a mind link from dad."Get your ass back here Cas,we have a meeting at attend."I groan remembering that we have a dinner with Dad's mate who is a woman.

"Geez, just the thought of having a human stepmother disgusts me."urg why do I have to deal so much with humans today? from that annoying mate of mine and now to Dad's,urg it's so frustrating , what do I do to deserve these?"I thought, putting on my shirt which I took of when working out.

I saw Luciana hurring out of campus towards the woods when I reached the parking lot."umm that's strange."I thought as Luciana never leaves the campus these early."Why do I even care?"l asked myself, shaking my head to clear all thought of luci out of my mind.

"What took you so long?"dad asked immediately I stepped foot on the alpha floor of the pack house.l groan face palming myself."c'mon dad, school ended 7 minutes ago and we both know it's a 5 minutes from the school to the pack house."I lectured dad who has an annoyed look on his face.

"Go freshen up and come downstairs,we leave in 30 minutes."dad said going towards his suite when he stopped in his tracks.i smirk when I saw Dad's dad's behavior over just a dinner.

He frown when he saw my smirk making me smirk even more as it's not always that I make the alpha king(dad) annoyed and goes Scott free even if am his son.

"Do you need anything dad?"I asked dad when I saw he has something to say but was hesitant."umm, I was wondering if I should go with the black suit or I should go with the white one?"He finally said after hesitating a bit.

"Hahaha, c'mon dad it's just a dinner.why make such a fuss about it?"I asked through loads of laughter."Huff, I knew it was a bad idea asking you and so you know it's a dinner with my true mate."he said turning and entering his suite leaving me to recover from my laugther.

"Better get ready before dad comes yelling at me."I thought entering my room and taking a quick bath.I was putting on my blue navy suit when I heard Dad's yell from downstairs."Get the Fuck down caspien, we're running late .

"I hurried downstairs after dressing ot a fuming dad."Better be on your best behavior caspien.No rude manners ,am I clear?dad asked when we entered the car."clera sa day dad."I answered in a lazy tone, bored out of hell from dad's behavior.

"Guess what?"dad asked with a misterious glint in his eyes."what is it Dad?"I asked dad in a bored tone."you're gonna have a little sister."dad said."what?"I exclaimed."Ain't you happy to have a little sis?"dad asked.

"I am,I can't wait to meet her."I said with fake enthusiasm making him smile."Great,just great.
