Luciana's pov

During the entire dinner,I tried as much as possible to avoid caspien after our confrontation these morning but the talk about Rex got me curious.I stared at him waiting to hear about who these Rex guy was.

He wasn't talking,just stealing glances at his father."Who knew he could be a pup."snow said making me smile.

"If you don't want to talk about it you don't have to "mom said trying to ease the awkward silence."Actually Jane, there's something I've been wanting to tell you "Jacob said hesitantly.

"Oh so it's a father and son thing."dad said"snow said laughing at the childish behavior of both father and son."Okay let's talk in the living room."mom said as we all got up and moved to the living room.

I sat in the single armchair while caspien sat opposite me as mom and Jacob took the sofa.

"So-oo,I actually don't know how to start but promise me that no matter what l say, you won't leave me.Dad pleaded with mom like a lost puppy.

"Let's take a picture Lucy,we might need it in the future"snow said as I removed my phone from my pocket and took a picture of Jacob's expression.

Caspien looked in my direction as he caught sight of what I was doing with a smirk on his face."Guess he is enjoying these"I thought as I pocketed my phone after taking the shot.

"Don't worry Jacob,I won't leave you but am afraid you would after tell you about a deep secret that you don't know about my home."mom said with a sad smile while looking in my direction.

"Well here goes nothing."I thought settling myself comfortably in my armchair.

"Okay then you go first and don't worry am not gonna leave you for anything."Jacob said while squeezing mom's hand gently."No, you go first."mom said as Jacob nodded.

'"So the thing is me and Cas we're __, we're not entirely human."Jacob said looking away from mom to the ground .

"Geez Lucy, their also not entirely human.Are they werewolves like godfather or as fairies as godmother?"snow kept ranting on and on in my mind."Shut the Fuck up snow.you're giving me a headache."I shut snow up.

,"Be more specific Mr Jacob."I said saw caspien searching my face for an expression but unfortunately,he got none.

"Well, what dad means is that we are werewolves meaning we have a wolf counterpart that we can transform into and to answer your question from earlier,Rex is my wolf counterpart.Caspien explain briefly in one breath.

"Umm okay."I muttered as snow erupt in my mind like a ranging volcano."Squee, they are werewolves like us Lucy, we're gonna have a werewolf step family.snow said.

The tension in the room desipate a bit as mom let out a breath a breath she didn't know she was holding.

"Why ain't you showing any expression?"Jacob asked."Cause we don't have any Jacob but can I ask a question?"I asked."Yes,you can."Jacob answered still confused at how well we were digesting the information.

"Ain't wolves suppose to have mates?"I asked."Yes they do."he answered."If they do then why do you option for my mom cause as far as I know, werewolves can't leave without there mate."I asked Jacob who had a puzzled expression on his face

"Well your mom here is my mate.I don't know how I got to have a human as my mate when am the alpha king but all I know is that I love your mom with all my heart and can't watch to let her go."Jacob answered as mom laughed from ear to ear.

"Wait, what, you're telling me you're alpha king Jacob of the werewolf race?Leader and ruler of all alpha lords?"I asked as realization dawn on me that the man standing in front of me is the ultimate power in the supernatural world.

"That's me Lucy but am wondering how you know so much about the werewolf race when you are human?"Jacob asked with a curious expression which matched Caspian's own.

"That's where you got it wrong Jacob, Am no a human."
