"Get down there luci you're gonna be late for school."mom yelled from downstairs.I quickly put on my uniform and hurried downstairs to mom who was arranging breakfast on the dinning table."Good morning mom"I greeted taking a seat at the table and dishing my breakfast which consist of bacon and pancakes on my plate.

"Morning sweetie, how was your night."mom asked giving me a Peck on the cheek."It was good mom."I said with my mouth full of bacon."Curtsy luci,no talking with mouth full."mom said amused by my behavior when it comes to food."ummm luci."mom hesitantly called me when I was exiting the house for school.

"Is there anything I can do for you mom?"I asked stoping in my tracks to face her."Umm I just want you to come back home early today, we have some guests coming."mom said shifting from one leg to another like a nervous teen telling her parents about going out with a guy.

(No no no, hope it isn't what am thinking.) "since when you we start having visitors mom?"I asked mom who had a nervous expression on her face."Umm there's something I wanted to tell you for a while now but couldn't find the right opportunity to do so."mom stated.

(O h no,God please it shouldn't be what am thinking)l pleaded with God as I've noticed mom's change for the past month and her kind of change is that of someone who is in love and gosh just the thought of having a stepfather doesn't sit well with me.

"Am engaged sweetie."mom suddenly blurt out what I've been dreading with sparkles in her eyes, waving her hand with her ring finger now adorned with a diamond ring.

"What the Fuck mom!tell me these some kind of prank."I yelled at mom even though I have expected that but hearing her say it out loud struck a cord in me.

I took my books from the locker and headed towards the library as the first lesson was already in progression.I walked absent mindedly through the almost empty halls towards the library when I bumped into a wall.

"Fuck since when did we have a wall blocking these path"I thought."watch where you're going mute."came voice that I recognize too well as laughter from the few people around echoed through the hall."Argh not now."I thought realizing it was caspien that I bumped into.I sighed getting off the ground to meet Caspian's emerald green eyes with a grim plastered on his annoyingly handsome face

"Fuck why must my biggest tomentor since year 1 to now be so handsome and irresistible?I thought drooling over Caspian's perfectly sculptured face which was flawless like an exquisite work of art and his bulging muscle that looked ripped in the shirt that he was wearing."Gosh I wonder how toned those abs will be.

I kept my head down as anger started boiling in me but remembering mom's advice when we came to these town I quickly keep my anger in check.I bend to pick my books that fell on the floor earlier when I bumped into caspien and hurried towards the library when I was thrown into the wall.Snow growl at the back of my mind meaning she is as angry as I am

Later jackass"I said straightening my dress with a daring smirk on my face as I turned and entered the library leaving behind a confused caspien."hahaha," snow rolled on her back and laughed her heart out in my minds eye."Just look at his expression luci, you nailed it these time.") snow said projecting a picture of Caspian's expression into my mind.

I felt proud of myself knowing I was the one that made him look so confused and dejected.
