Alpha Chester's POV

“What!?” I boomed into the phone. My mate had escaped? Escaped to where? The pack was dangerous for a human. And a human like Icelyn? No, no. I couldn't lose her again.

I sprang up from my swivel chair and grabbed my car keys from my desk. I was already hurrying towards my office door before I even knew it.

“How could she escape the Pack House when all of you are there?!”

“Alpha, she escaped during Breakfast Hour,” my butler answered. I could hear the panic and fear in his voice. He knew he was already a dead man when I arrived.

“How many the f*ck times have I said you all should not go for breakfast at the same f*ck*ng time?!” I growled and yelled at the same time. My secretary at her table flinched and let down her cup of coffee.

“Cancel all my appointments including the ones in the human world,” I ordered with clenched teeth as I hurried past her and pocketed my phone. I was boiling with rage. My arms shook as I pressed buttons on the elevator.
