SAVANNAH POV I wasn’t sure what time mom was going to be home tonight. And I really didn’t want to see her when she did get here. I wanted to be anywhere but here. She broke the biggest promise to me that she has ever made. And on top of that, I have cuts on my face to prove it. I wasn’t going to forgive her for this. At least, I wasn’t going to make it easy for her. So when I finished eating that night I went to the hospital and used the spare keys to her car that I had and I got in it. I sat there practically frozen in place as Alpha Kane stalked towards me. The murderous look in his eye had me scared for my life right now. He bent down and grabbed my bra and shirt and threw them at me. “Get dressed.” He growled. And he walked outside of the room but I could hear him in the hallway outside. He wasn’t leaving until I did. I got dressed as fast as I could and I got up and walked to the hallway where he grabbed my arm and he dragged me out of the clubhouse. By now, there was a crowd gathered outside the bar and they all backed off as soon as they saw the size of Alpha Kane and the look on his face. I tried to pull my arm free a couple of times, but he only gripped it tighter and he dragged me to the car and he opened the passenger door for me to get in. I went downstairs and I walked around for a little bit before I finally found the kitchen. I had never lived in a house this big before so it was strange walking around the packhouse like this. It was dead quiet and I am sure that I am the only one awake. There weren’t even any omega’s walking around in the kitchen or anything. Which I thought was strange. I thought there would be some here already making breakfast or something like that. I made myself a coffee and I found my way out the back door and I sat on the patio furniture to have my coffee while I was looking around at how quiet it was. ALPHA KANE POV I knew that Savannah wouldn’t have gone many places. She was stuck with Calvin for her whole life and while coming to my pack, they definitely wouldn’t have made a fun trip out of it. ALPHA KANE POV The next place we went to was a shop owned by a witch. A real life witch and Savannah told me that she could feel the power coming from the shop before we even got there. The witch looked scared and worried and watched us so closely while we were in there. But she was mostly watching Savannah for some reason.
