Roman's pov.

She hesitated.

I look at the time on my watch and try to get that moment out of my head, but I can't.

I asked her if she trusted me and she hesitated for a split second before sighing and giving a nod. There's nothing I can use to describe how that made me feel. It made me feel like a liar and a fool.
