Roho

Okay so training is off early today because of the mating ceremonies, Astrid has asked me to be her flower dancer, I was surprised but flattered and accepted, I spent my mornings for the past month between the kitchen and learning the dance she wants, thank goodness I'm a nimble person and a fast learner so I've got it locked and ready, she told me to meet her at Carsons so we can get dressed together, she's even had a dress made for me.

I won’t exactly say we’re close, well I don’t know, I’m not exactly known for having female friends but I suppose she would be the closest thing to a friend right now, she also makes sure I save her some of whatever I make in the kitchen daily, I tease her to tell her she’s not going to fit into her dress as she’d get fat eating like that and not working out, which made her join us for the trainee warm up sessions then she’d go back home.

“There you are! Come on in this house, we need to start getting ready!”

I didn’t even have time to knock before she swung the front door open, made her statement and hauled me into the house, “okay ladies, this is my flower dancer” there are Four very posh looking ladies, dressed to the T, that screams rich and elegance looking at me “uhm, hi” “hello Red, let’s begin shall we” I look around kind of confused “begin what exactly?”

They laugh “of course getting you ready for the ceremony later silly” “b-but I’m only dancing sooo-” “exactly, the spot light will be on you as you will be representing Astrid and obviously you have to look your best representing our girl, so come on, up you go”

I am scrubbed, washed, polished, massaged and made up for the entire afternoon, thankfully I managed to score some shut eye during the massage so I’m feeling fairly rejuvenated, I can’t believe women spend all this time getting pretty, it’s so damn tiring and frustrating to me, I just want it to be over and get these women away from me!

I’m sitting, getting my hair done before getting into my dress and finishing my make up “alright, hair and make up is done, time for the dress!” one of the ladies brings the dress in a clothing bag and hangs it up before unzipping the bag, it’s a light Pink Goddess dress with flowers and butterflies “wow, it’s so, it’s so feminine” one of them giggles.

“Okay well first put your tights on then let’s help you into the dress” I do as I’m told then they help me slip into the dress, “okay, ready to see yourself? You look so beautiful, especially your hair!”

I walk towards the standing mirror and stare at myself “I’m sorry, who it this?” they all laugh and the head stylist walks over to me “this is you Roho, you’re a very beautiful woman and your hair is to die for! Bend please let me add this crown” she places a flower crown on my head and fastens it so it stays in place when I dance “alright, you’re ready” “thank you, I never thought there’d be a day I’d get to see myself like this, do you mind taking a picture for me?” “sure” they laugh at my expense once again.

“Come on we’ll show you some good poses” it takes us a few minutes more before we’re finished taking pictures when there’s a knock at the door “the bride to be is ready, we need to get going” “okay, she’s finished here too”

“Damn Ro! I expected you to be gorgeous but this is incredible! You look amazing” I’m positive I’m blushing red in the face “thank you but you’re the most beautiful Astrid” she blushes “thank you, let’s go” she gets into the vehicle first, then I slide in after seeing as I have to get out first to do her dance to introduce her.

This woman has been clinging to my arm since we left the castle to head over to the ceremony, no matter how much I try to shake her off, even if I stop to talk to others she sticks to me which is so fkin annoying, I did not miss my parents disapproving looks, especially my Dad when they saw her with me, I am beginning to think this really was a bad idea that will bite me in the ass but it’s too late to back out now, we’re already here.

I keep looking around for Roho, I see everyone else except for her, I know their training was put on hold for today given the occasion “who are you looking for?” “this is this fourth time you’ve asked me this, it’s no one”

Carson and Cory arrive which means their mates will soon follow “I need to go, please let go of my arm” “can’t I come to the stage with you, I mean I am your date for this evening after all” “the seat next to me on the stage is for my Queen which you are not, please do not over step”
