Chapter 192

A small sob escapes my lips then I steel my heart “where do we need to go?” “to the Willow Peak Mountain, there is a special plant that grows there that can restore life”

I was about to open a portal when Tabitha walked by me seemingly to pick up a basket when a faint scent catches my nose, like rotting meat, I turn and look around looking for the source of the scent.

“Is everything alright?”

“Hmm? Yes, it is, do you have everything you’d need?”

“Yes, let’s go”

Again I was about to open the portal when a loud bump catches my attention then a muffled cry, I move towards the source of the sound and break it open, Tabby and her beloved comes tumbling out bloody, gagged and tied.

“What the hell?!”

Tabbys eyes widen and she gives a muffled sound “mmm mmmmmm” I turn and barely manage to dodge an attack and her face changes, it’s a slim sickly looking woman who stinks, she has veins everywhere  and claw marks on her.

“It’s you! You’re the one who hurt my parents!”

She cackles, “and soon you will join them in death!” she lounges at me and I duck and punch her in the stomach, she retaliates and we fight all through Tabbys lodging, finally I punch her in the face, she goes flying, I use my speed and catch her by the neck before she collides with the counter.

“I will ensure you have no chance of survival” I sink my claws into her throat and she screams in agony and I take hold of her spine and rip it out completely, I drop her body then step on her skull crushing it, drag her into the yard and set her on fire.

I get back to the lodging and quickly untie Tabby and her beloved and she throws herself into my arms and cries “she came out of nowhere Sala and caught us off guard, but we have no time to waste, the information she told you is the truth about the plant on Willow Mountain, please Sala, for your parents sake let’s go quickly, we can be looked after once we’ve saved them”

I nod and open a portal, Tabitha hops through it and I follow, we come out in raging winds at the top of a mountain but below there is magma bubbling below “where is it Tabby?” I shout.

“It’s down there Sala, they grow down in that cave but it is so hot in there because of the magma, that is why people rarely get it”

I don’t say anything, I just open a portal after taking the basket from Tabby, keeping my eyes on the cave and step through, oh my Gods the heat! I quickly look around and begin picking plants as quickly as I could, once the basket is filled I quickly open the portal and go back to the mountain top.

I drop to my knees panting and wet from sweat “are you okay Sala?” “I feel like I’m scorched Tabby, is this the right plant?”

“Yes! Yes it is! Quickly let’s go back and prepare the potion” I open the portal and we go through and get straight to working on the potion, once it’s done I use the portal again and we get to where they are, everyone seems shocked probably because of how rough we look but that is the least of our concern right now.

“How do we administer it Tabby?” “either IV or injection” “quickly give me a syringe” “excuse me but I can not allow you to just give their highnesses anything of unknown origins, what if you mean to harm them”

I look at the old fart who is trying to stand in my way “Gyahan, bring me Two syringes please” she pushes through the crowd and grabs Two and hurriedly brings them to me “your highness Azealia” I take it from her and pull the potion into it then inject it carefully into my mothers arm then the other for my father.

After a few minutes their complexions begin to change and brighten and their breathing gets steady and I can feel their lifelines rejuvenate once again, I look to the old fart and he looks away embarrassed.

“Why didn’t anyone reach out to me about this?”

“We had no way to contact you your highness, I truly wanted to seek your help but only my majesty can open portals, and now you, that’s it”

Hmm, I guess we need to come up with some sort of communication method otherwise so things like these do not happen again.

I will have to sleep on that, “Azealia?” my mothers weak voice calls out, I turn to her and smiles up at me “you scared me woman!” she smiles “I’m alright my love” “so no one cares about the old man in the next bed huh”

“You’re more than fine if you can make snide comments like that Dawson”
