Taran's POV
Willa jumped in a startle, but then she grinned brightly, and that one single smile lit up my world.
"Al! What are you doing here?!" Willa smiled with a happily surprised shout, and the anxiety and worry and nervousness I had all day suddenly seemed so stupid.
"Got bored waiting, so I came to watch a splendid fight." I shrugged. Cerberus suddenly calmed down.
"Sorry!" Willa clasped her hands together with begging eyes, "I swear I was just about to sneak out to the cliff! I was forced into the patrol training by the Alpha! Somehow he knew about me leaving the pack and caged me today..."
Kirsch wouldn't be so nervous about Willa knowing about me once I claim her mine.
"You don't have to be sorry!" I laughed at her begging eyes, feeling as if even the air smelled sweet, "I know you wanted to come."
