042 No Mood For Ambush

Willa's POV

Saturday came.

I had a white blouse under my cloak. Al's gift in my little red bag.

I was ready to face my fate.

Taking a deep breath, I opened my bedroom door and went downstairs, ready to face the Alpha. I had to make him believe that I wasn't going to the sea, and I wouldn't accept anymore of his unfair arrangement.

I needed to go to the beach.

But the Alpha wasn't there. His car was not in front of my porch either. It almost felt weird to not have him around. Now that I thought about it, he had been at my house ever since the first morning I woke up at this pack.

Well, one less problem to tackle then.

I dashed out of my house at the forest. I didn't even see anyone on my way over. It was like the whole town evaporated and I was the only one left.

Better this way.

I made it to the cliff before noon, but there was no one there. The cliff suddenly felt so empty even though it had been lonely
