097 Treasure Lost
Kirsch's POV
When I opened my eyes, it took me a while to realize I was back in the Alpha's house. I hadn't been living here for a while.
I was in Taran's room.
Guess it was some pack member who took me back. They didn't even know I never slept in the master bedroom. It would always be Taran's.
But it meant he wasn't back yet.
I tried to move my body but everything hurt. I could barely look down at my own body, but I could feel it was wrapped in bandages.
I let out a slight groan in pain as I closed my eyes and laid down again. It would still take days before I could fully recover, and that was actually a better result than I had expected.
I really thought Crebreus would kill me.
I could barely stand up in the end as I tried to stop him from dashing into the pack. I managed to force him to go through the woods as I mindlinked patrol and cleared a path so we wouldn't run into anyone.
