098 Taran's Mate
Kirsch's POV
It took me a few seconds to understand Taran's words. It wasn't like Willa was not in the house. As far as Taran knew, Willa was nowhere to be found?!
Maybe she went to the beach?
"Don't tell me it's Nat again!" I rubbed my head in frustration.
"It's not. I asked Nat. She was here when I came back." Taran shook his head, "Nat didn't know where Willa is, and Willa wouldn't accept her mind link."
"What the hell did Nat do this time?!" I grunted. Willa didn't like Nat, but she wouldn't just deny her mind link if it wasn't because Nat did something to upset her again.
[Willa?] I tried to mind link Willa, but no response.
[Willa?] I tried again, still, Willa refused to put the mind link through. At least that meant she wasn't in danger.
"She won't accept. I don't want to use the Alpha Aura on her." I sighed. I couldn't imagine what would have upset Willa so much that she wouldn't even talk to us.
