210 Unexpected Rejection

Willa's POV

The plan went extraordinarily well.

We didn't see too many guards, and it was easy to sneak around the few on the way. Maybe they never expected someone would try to mess up with ALL the packs by a prison break from the Treaty.

[Keep your voice low no matter what you see in there.] Kirsch warned me as he opened the lock on the door as soft as he could. I gulped nervously as I slid through the crack.

"How dare--!" I gasped as Nox growled out loud. Kirsch covered my mouth quickly as he closed the door behind us. I bit his finger as tears burst out beyond my control.

I knew they put Taran under wolfsbane, and I thought that was bad enough, but it wasn't like that. He was chained to an iron chair naked with cuts of all sizes covering his body. There were some claw marks on his body, clearly left from a battle with wolves, but also wounds clean and fresh.
