Kirsch's POV
[Kirsch?] Willa tried to mindlink me soon after I dashed out of the cell, but I couldn't put it through.
I didn't know how to face them anymore.
[Kirsch, please,] Willa said in a gentle tone, [I need to talk to you, please?]
Even hearing her voice ached my heart.
Not just because it was hard to say no to her, but also because -- I could feel the hidden anger crawling through the mindlink.
No doubt, the anger belongded to Nox.
To be frank, Willa should be angry with me as well, after what I did. But I knew she was too kind to do that, which made it even harder.
I would rather she shout at me, or just claw my heart out to prove Taran wrong by breaking the curse magically.

Hi Everyone~ Sorry that I have gone missing for days, I feel horrible about it. My editor has been pushing me on a new book cause apparently this one is not doing too well. It's not like I don't like a challenge, but I tried to keep both of them up, but I can't seem to do it well.
