He didn't seem recognize me on the other hand. "Are you okay?" He asked me, eyeing me from head to toe to see if I had sustained any injuries.

I shook my head positively, "I'm fine, you can let go now."

"You should be a lot more careful." He stuffed his hands into his pockets and began to walk away as if our encounter did not just happen.

I stood still, watching him leave until he was completely out of sight. Not knowing what to do, I decided to call Samantha, she was the third friend in our group.

"My love, I was just about to text you." She said in her ever cheery voice, "Mira told me what's up with Greg, my goodness I'm so excited for you this is crazy!" She beamed on her end of the phone.

"Did she also remember to tell you how jealous she was acting?" I had to roll my eyes. Everything about Mira seemed to hurt my feelings now.

"I don't understand?" A confused Sam retorted.

"Sam, Mira literally made me seem like a terrible person because I got this offer, and not her. I was so hurt." I sighed, "she knows why I'm doing this, she knows I do not have any other choice, why would she say the things she said?"

"Aw love, you know how Mira can get, I'm sure she didn't mean what she said. I'm jealous too but I'm so happy for you and I'm sure that she is too." Sam defended her and I just had to roll my eyes.

"Whatever, that's by the way. Okay so I left the house because I was so mad at her and you won't guess who I knocked into in this neighborhood!" I wondered why I was getting excited for my own good.

"Why are you out so late miss ma'am? Go back home!" Sam scolded me.

"I bumped into Greg! He didn't recognize me but it was him. He literally saved my life tonight." I told her, reliving the memory in my head.

"Are you sure?" She sounded like she didn't believe me. "Go home first, we will talk about this when you get home, you know how unsafe it is in your neighborhood." Her worry was laced in her voice and so I chose to succumb.

"Alright, fine." I said, hoping that Sam would be gone from the house before I got there.

Mira was in the bedroom on her phone when I got back home and thankfully her boyfriend was no longer around. I hopped into the bed next to her, sleeping in the opposite direction so we had our backs to each other.

Thoughts of how tomorrow would be filled my head. While we were trained to prepare for acting moments like this, I was still hell of nervous. Going through what Vivian had sent to me, I didn't have to do too much of talking and so I wasn't bothered but there was still basic information about him included in the manuscript that I had to know in case I was asked.

I had no idea when I slept off.

I woke up the next morning to the sound of my alarm clock and I did everything as quickly as I could in order to be able to catch my flight and get there in time.

Greg had booked for us a hotel where we would first meet before having someone drive us to the actual event.

I wore a simple shirt gown and put on minimal makeup just because of the type of job that this was and it didn't involve having to please the man.

"Wait." Mira called just as I was about to leave the room.

I turned around to look at her.

"Listen, I'm so sorry about what happened earlier, it really wasn't my intentions and things honestly just kind of happened." She sighed, "I know I should be happy for you but things honestly just happened."

"It's fine." I shrugged it off, especially because I didn't want to be late. "We will talk about this when I get home." I assured her and pulled her into a hug.

"Don't forget to tell me every single detail please." She smiled at me. I nodded in response and left the house.

Well, here I come.

I waved a taxi over and told him where I was headed and relaxed into one of the seats.

I pulled a photo of my little sister out of my pocket. I always kept one with me. "Just a little bit more time Amy." I sighed as if the picture would respond to me. "Just a little bit more."

Vivian would not stop texting me for updates that I had to eventually put my phone on silent.

The ride was longer than expected and I topped the driver judging that I was getting a lot of money from this.

He helped me get my luggage off and I watched him zoom off before texting Viv that I was here.

I looked at the hotel and my smile faded immediately. I was at the wrong location.
