The walk to my dorm room was void of conversation between Dean and me. The silence did not generate any moments of awkwardness. I could tell he enjoyed silence of this kind. There was no need to force any idle conversation. The random stares from my peers hadn't halted as I thought they would've by now. Dean glanced at me with a look of concern. He must've noticed the sharp gazes directed my way. These weren't the looks of admiration that he must've been used to. These were looks of curiosity and fear. I despised one more than the other and it was the fearful glances that I could not escape. I wanted to find out more about the type of rumors going around about me. Was it perhaps connected to the Sophomores that deceived me with their magic or was it when Warlocks and Witches saw the moon's authority take its hold over me. I wondered if the Witch who set someone on fire received this much attention too?
