I kept on running, without looking back because I was afraid to do so. My strength was slowly leaving me, but I didn't want to give up. I would call it a miracle that I was able to escape, and I thought the moon goddess was finally on my side.

Something hard hit me, and I immediately fell on the soil wincing in pain. I rose up on my feet and continued running. As long as I was still in the silver Crest pack, alpha Valentino would surely find me. He would torture me, and probably kill me.
