Janet's POV
I'm pissed off right now. I mean how could Melanie just allow that girl to slap her numerous times? Even when Steve came in her defense, she stopped him from reacting and I know even when Melanie didn't stop him, he wouldn't be able to slap or do anything to Nancy. He does not like using his hands on girls. I think I've had enough of Nancy and her tantrums. I need to inform Dad about this.
"She's awake" Steve announced as I rushed to the room she was placed in.
"What made her faint?" I faced the nurse in charge of the school's sick bay.
"She has fever but I've given her some medications to subdue it. And why is her face so red?" The nurse asked in concern.
"She was slapped." I sighed.
"What the hell? You guys should report the person who did that. Just take a look at her face." She pointed to Melanie's face.

Melanie's POV"Good morning" I said as I sat down at the dining table. "How are you doing now? I hope the fever is down." Mom asked as she touched my forehead. I forced a smile. Suzy's POVI arranged few of my clothes and placed them in a small traveling bag. I glanced at my wristwatch and realized I was not late so I don't need to be in a haste."Okay, I think am ready."
