Chapter 29
Steve's POV
I opened my eyes and I looked round. The place looks unfamiliar but when I regained composure, I realized I was in my room. I sat up properly and tried to remember how I got here but to no avail. I didn't feel much pain but I knew I had an headache. I glanced at the alarm clock by my bedside and it read '11:30'. Wow! So it's the next day already and I woke up so late?
Something seems odd. I know I left this room yesterday but how I'm still here is the main issue. Or was it all a dream? But I saw Daisy and Melanie. I thought and the headache increased.
The door to my room opened and Jessie strolled in. She was smiling and I wondered what made her so happy.
"Good morning" she greeted and I nodded. "What happened to you? Why do you look so pale?" She exclaimed as she ran over to my side. She touched her own forehead and mine. She gasped.

Melanie's POV"Steve" I called and I stood up from the bed I sat on."Well, it seems I remembered everything now. I mean everything." He emphasized and I gulped."Oh...okay, it's good you know now. It'll save us the stress of explaining and trying to make you remember." I faked a smile. I was so nervous that I started to pick on my nails.He started to walk closer to me and I swallowed my saliva nervously."What...what are you doing?" Melanie's POV"Melanie dear, we are running late. Let's be on way" mom shouted."I'll be out in five, mom" I yelled from my room. I glanced at the young girl who laid on my bed."Won't you get up?" I glared at her while she rolled her eyes."That doesn't work on me, you know." She told me referring to the stare I gave her."Nevertheless, you ought to be out of my room by now." Melanie's POVI smiled when I read Suzy's message. "Let's have a duet" it reads. Wow, what was she thinking? Why would she want me to sing with her? I asked myself series of questions. Melanie's POV"You?" She stared at me with wide eyes and smiles replaced her expressions."Huh?" I stared confusedly. She hurriedly pulled me up and she giggled."It's really you. I can't believe this." Melanie's POV"Stop! I'll do it" I said as I controlled my anger. I was already pissed off at what she was doing.
