Melanie's POV

"Steve" I screamed. I knelt down immediately beside him and I pulled him up.  "Steve, no. Don't do this to me." I cried.  "We have to go home together. Jessie will be sad. Mom and dad will be unhappy without you. Janet won't have anyone to fight with. Steve, please." I cried

"Mackenzie, hand over the band." Sage said. I closed my eyes firmly and by the time I opened it and with the anger surging in me, I knew it's likely I spit out fire. 

"Do your worst" I stood up and left Steve.  "What did you say?" He asked.  "I said do your worst." I yelled.  "Fine. Let's do it." He admitted. 

"But before then, remember you'll be the one at loss. You've lost Steve, you'll lose the band and you might even lose your life." He concluded.  "Are you ready?" I ignored his speech.
