Steve’s POV
I fluttered my eyes open when I felt something warm on my head. My eyes darted slowly from the ceiling to the person I saw in front of me. “You’re awake?” Daisy appeared in front of me.“Yeah,” I said, stretching out my hand to lift up the warm napkin that was on my forehead.“Let me help you up,” she offered. She collected the napkin, moved closer to me to help me up.
I accepted the offer and groaned in the process of sitting up. My head ached.“You’re down with fever.” She told me as she placed a pillow behind my back.
“My head throbs!” I winced.“But do you at least feel better now?”“Yeah,” I nodded.“Back to what you were saying before I passed out,” I started. “What do I do?”

Daisy's POVI stood still at the doorstep when I heard my name. I was sure it was mom Megan. Megan's POVI sat down on a nearby couch as I waited for Daisy. She's been out of the house for few minutes now and she's still not back. Megan's POVI coughed slightly from the smoke that filled the atmosphere. Everywhere was clouded with smoke and I wondered how much damage Sage has caused to the whole city.I trod along the road carefully, squinting my eyes to see if there was any other person around. Megan's POVI stood at the centre of the city with Steve, Sage and his captives. Sage's eyes never left mine while he waited patiently for me to make my decision.Something kept telling me not to surrender.
