CHAPTER 2

Damon's pov

I looked at the picture my P. A gave me. She is still alive but looks different, in a good way. It has been 12 years now and I've finally found her.

'Have you found her location yet?' I asked 'yes' he said.

'Ok, let's go'.

Let me introduce myself. I am Damon Gonzales, a very rich and popular business man, I've got the looks, money and all exactly why I have got girls running after me but the only one in my heart is my darling charlotte. Ok that all about me.

I was dressed in all black, black jean, top and hoodie so as to look casual. My P. A led me to her apartment. When I knocked, a lady opened the door for me, immediately the lady recognized me and screamed she wanted to touch me but my P. A stopped her.

'My name is Vivian' she said.

'sorry did you know any coralline Scott?' my P. A asked.

Coralline? I thought 'is that her new name?' I asked myself.

'Why are you looking for her?' she asked. 'do you know where she stays now?'

'no' she said '... and you will never find her' she sneered and close the door angrily. I felt disappointed that I couldn't find her. when I entered my car. I asked my P. A, 'you mentioned coralline Scott, why?"

'That's her new name, that was why it took me a long time to find her. 'ok' I replied. 'find more information about her and where she lives'

'ok sir'

'Drive' I instructed my driver.

'ok sir' he replied and started the car. Charlotte I must find you and find out what really happened 12 years ago.

'stop', I told my driver, he stopped immediately. I got out of the car and stared at her, she is the one, I know I am not mistaken. 'sir what is wrong' my P. A asked but I ignored him.

I followed her closely until she started walking fast. I did the same too. She went through an alley. I chuckled inwardly, lame. I followed another route. She didn't watched where she was going and bumped into me. When she saw my face, she screamed and wanted to run away but I gripped her immediately and said 'Charlotte, I've finally found you, I will never let you go'

She looked at me terrified. Terrified, she used to stare at me lovingly. She tried to get out of my grip but I wouldn't let go.

I was caught off guard when she kicked me in my balls. I let go immediately and she ran off. I kept groaning on the floor when my P. A came, 'find out all more about her immediately" I said and tried to get up, laughed inwardly still as feisty as always.

Coralline's pov

I didn't stop running until I reached the apartment. I knocked and vivian opened it 'what did you want'? She asked. I didn't answer her, but pushed her out of the way and walked in. I picked up my biggest suitcase and started packing my things.

'You finally know your place' she said. I didn't reply her but continued packing. She continued talking 'John and I are planning our weeding since I'm pregnant already' I still didn't reply. She got furious and said 'You are just jealous that's why you are quiet'.

I chuckled and replied 'so because you tied him down with a baby, you think you have won. Any way, you can have John, I guess that is the greatest thing you can ever have in your life. Exactly why you aren't moving forward'

'what did you mean", she asked furious.

'It's pretty obvious you're sticking with him because of jealousy and money, who knows if that baby is John's'.

I think that statement made her furious and she came at me with full force but I moved out of the way in time. She missed her step and fell.

she looked at me angrily but her expression become soft immediately. 'I just want to make peace with you coralline, why did you have to push me? And you know that I am pregnant. 'Huh?' I thought, where did all the fierceness go?

'How dare you Coralline?' I heard, and turned back to see John standing at the doorpost and staring at me with angry eyes.

'What do you think you are doing?' John asked again. 'What does it look like I'm doing?' I asked rudely. He was shocked by my remark but regained his composure immediately. 'So because I broke up with you, you decided to murder my unborn child right?'

'How pathetic' I muttered. John wanted to reply but was stopped by Vivian's fake tears 'John don't be angry with her. It was just a mistake, right Coralline?' She asked batting her eyelashes like a wh*re. I just scoffed and continued to pack my stuffs.

John, seeing I ignored them was furious and uttered the most foolish I've ever heard ' I know you still love me, that's why you're acting this way. If you would just beg me, I'd consider taking you back' Vivian stared at him in shock

I chuckled and said 'I'd rather die single than take you back'

'Oh stop saying nonsense, I know you can't do without me so I'm giving you a chance now.' 'Baby what are you doing?' Vivian asked in anger. He ignored her and stared at me probably waiting for my answer.

'I was doing fine before I met you so what makes you think I can't live without you. You've got a really unique way of asking me to go back to you but guess what, that'll never happen' I uttered and left with my luggage.

Vivian's pov

I stared angrily at Coralline as she left. Why does she always get the good things? What about me? I won't deny she's got the perfect looks, curves and rich men chasing after her even the popular Damon Gonzales. Now the only person I've managed to get wants her back, it would never happen. 'John, what was the meaning of that?' I asked when I saw him looking at the door even after she had left.

'Nothing baby, I just wanted to see if she would knell so we can ridicule her' I could tell he was lying but I didn't oppose. After all he still thinks of me as his 'obedient and submissive' Vivian.

'You said you were going to introduce me to your family, when are we going?' I asked him

'Soon baby, soon' He said

'I can't w\it to get married to you, you know I'm an upcoming model and a public figure, so I wouldn't want to spoil my reputation by having a baby out of wedlock'

'Just wait a little bit, we'll get married before your baby bump shows' He said patting my hair.

I smiled inwardly and snuggled close to him. Finally' all my fantasies are becoming reality. After I get married to John, I'll gain all the power and popularity I want, divorce him and then Damon Gonzales would be next. I know he wouldn't be able to resist my charm. No man can. Just a little seduction and he would be mine.

John's pov

I was still surprised by what Coralline said earlier. I just broke up with her yesterday and she's gotten over me already. Maybe my strategy was wrong. I've got to find a new way to win her back so I can fulfill my plans and then I can finally get married to my darling Vivian so we'll raise our child together. I smirked when I finally got an idea, just you wait Coralline. I'm coming for you.
