Roan's POV

“Me?” The guard blinked, looking back and forth.

“Of course, you,” I snort. “He will go in as a rogue and will find a way to kill Kyra silently. He is a warrior; it shouldn't be much of a task if he is disguised.” I explained.

While some of the elders were nodding in agreement, Father was staring at me with a displeased look on his face.

I raised a brow at him, the left side of my lips tugged up in a smirk. I knew my plan was good, so what was his problem?

“Have you forgotten that your crazy ex was the best warrior in the Red Sky pack?” He asked.

Again, I snorted, “Who said anything about going to fight with her?” I asked. “Look at this guy?” I turned, pointing to the guard, “Does he look like someone who would be able to defeat Kyra? Even five of him won't be able to.”
