It was already night by the time they reached that part of the forest.The darkness was deeper there than it had been on the path they had followed earlier. The trees stood close together, their thick branches blocking what little light remained from the sky. Still, none of them had trouble seeing. Vampires and werewolves had excellent night vision, and even in the darkness, they could make out the surroundings clearly.What they saw ahead, however, was enough to make them stop.There was a cave.Its entrance was partly hidden between the trees, surrounded by thick vines and overgrown plants.
