CHAPTER 18

Zion

I woke up feeling better than ever. It is as if I was not the man who could not walk on my own. When my sickness occurred, it was often difficult to get well within a day. Catherine and the doctor had to try everything, but this time it was different.

Even though I was unconscious, I could smell, feel, and hear Aria. Pine was so eager to get up that he wanted to grab her.

When I ultimately awoke, I observed smoke coming from my arms, but there was no burning sensation. I saw Thea, Bruno, Jordan, and finally, Aria, who was straining to stand up. She was ready to collapse, so I sprang out of bed to save her.

"Alpha!" everyone exclaimed, but Aria was what my heart yelled.

"Get Catherine and the doctor here straight away," I instructed Bruno, who dashed off.
