Gale pulled the blanket up to cover Verss's chest. He fell asleep quickly after taking his antidepressant. Although it's not necessary Doctor said adequate sleep would make him feel much better when he woke up.

Gale took a deep breath, he had made the mistake of taking his young master to a childhood home that had good memories, but also lots of bad memories for Verss. He regretted being selfish and not thinking about his feelings.

Gale was silent, staring at the young man's helpless face sleeping with his eyes tightly closed, fine lines on his forehead because there were so many thoughts bothering him. Gale raised his hand and stroked Verss' forehead, slowly removing those fine lines. Gale could not run away again if now he saw Verss more than he had imagined before. Verss' safety was far more important than just risking his life to protect him, now, he was like another life for Gale himself, a life he had to protect no matter what.
