Chapter 7

"Assalamualaikum, where are the people in this house? Why does the house feel so quiet? Has dad done anything bad to mom again?"

"Waalaikumssalam, my son is home"

"Mom where is dad?"

"Oh he's at the salon, take a shower first after that we eat together while waiting for your mother to come home"

"Okay daddy"

I stepped into my room to take a shower and change my clothes, when I got to my room I lay down on my bed.

"Uh miss this room, the feel of the room is still the same as before" I said to myself

I didn't want to wait long, I immediately took a shower and changed my clothes because I didn't want to make my father angry, I know traces of my father's past, even now my father still does that, but I hesitate to tell my mother because I don't want my parents' household to fall apart, butI also can't bear to see mom continuously tormented by dad. I immediately went down for dinner and when I went downstairs I overheard my father's conversation on the phone.
