CHAPTER 30
After eating dinner with my family and Josh, it was time for Honey to go to bed. We’re in her room, and I laid beside her and tucked her under the duvet.
“Have a good rest Honey.” Josh placed a kiss on Honey’s forehead and she gave him a warm hug, wrapping her arms around his neck.“Thank you so much Uncle Josh. Goodnight mommy, happy birthday!” Honey smiled at me and I leaned closer and kissed her cheek.
“Goodnight baby, I love you.” I brushed my fingers through her hair one last time before stepping away from the bed.
When Josh and I reached the door, I turned off the light. We stepped out of Honey’s bedroom and I closed the door with a soft thud.
“Josh, thank you so much for being here always.” I told him as we entered my bedroom.
“Of course Yoo-Mi, you’re my very best friend and I’ll do anything to make you happy.” He pulled me close

YOO-MI’S POV I groaned as my alarm screamed at me indicating it was 6 am and time to get ready for work. I rolled out of bed and walked straight into the bathroom. I washed my hair and body and stepped out to dry my hair and face. I blow-dried my hair before smoothing and tying it into a high ponytail and began with natural makeup that covered my slightly puffy eyes. I wore a white chiffon blouse and I slipped on black slacks and tucked it in before sliding a belt around my waist. I picked up my black blazer and black coat and slipped my black pumps on. Before I headed downstairs, I checked on Honey in her room and she’s still sleeping. When I got home, I took a long shower and let the steaming hot water washed Jeonghan off of me. “I love you babe.” I could still hear him say it before I drifted off in his arms. I could still feel him, on my skin and between my legs and in my head, and I don’t know what to do about it. And slowly, as the endorphins fade away, the panic sets in. He didn’t say anything, he didn’t promise me anything and it really breaks my heart. What would I expect anyway? After I tossed on a warm pair of pajamas, I laid down on my bed. I blushed, remembering spreading myself apart for Jeonghan, that sound he made when he looked at me with undisguised, untamed, predatory lust on his face, and then what came next, Oh my god! I closed my eyes trying to calm the warm feeling that rises in my chest when I think of him, holding me in his arms and kissing my whole body and mumbling against the top of my head that I was important to him.
