Amora’s face turned red and I could see that my words got to her. She got up and faced me.

“You think you’re special to him don’t you. But let me assure you, Selena that the time will come when you will realize that Duncan was never yours to begin with.”

I slapped her and stared at her with my eyes blazing with anger and my heart beating seriously.

We stood there both our hearts beating. We were obviously angry.

Amora placed her hand on her cheek. I could see the shock in her eyes, but I didn’t care.

“Whatever your reasons are that made you return back to the pack, I came here to tell you that you’ll never succeed, Amora.”

She smiled a grim smile at me and raised her head to look straight into my eyes.

“You’ll find out soon enough why I returned to my pack, Selena. You wait and see.
