CHAPTER 124

SELENA’S POV

I was dreaming and I saw Alpha Duncan walking through a dark forest. As he walked, I noticed that the trees around him were dark and the air was filled with the smell of smoke.

As I watched, a group of shadowy figures I couldn’t identify emerged from the trees, their eyes glowing red.

They began to close in on Alpha Duncan, who stood still, his face calm and unafraid.

Suddenly, one of the figures leapt forward, a blade in its hand, and stabbed Alpha Duncan in the chest.

I gasped as I watched the scene unfold, and then I woke up, my heart racing and a cold sweat on my brow.
