Ever since I lied to Stella on the phone, I haven’t been able to seat still, the guilt was too much for me. I didn’t even know why I did it, after all Tomi was a friend and I could spend my lunch break with Tomi…why was I hiding my location from Stella like Tomi was a dirty little secret. There was nothing wrong with me hanging out with my best friend.
“Kola, are you okay?” Tomi asked me, laying her hand on top of mine as I frowned at her actions, her touchiness this period was too much.
“No, I don’t feel so good about lying to Stella, I think I would go to her office in Ikeja and spend the rest of the day with her.” I said to Tomi who shook her head at me.
