Chapter 25 – The Queen Grim Reaper

Much to Solene’s pleasure, the armor wasn’t heavy. She was covered in it from her torso down to her feet, yet she felt as though she was only wearing denim. It fitted well with her size and it was, as an incentive, comfortable to wear—or at least it felt like it because of the padded bodysuit she wore.

Platinum was the main element used in the armor, but another material the color of gold was added to the breastplate and boots. It swirled and looped to add design on the jagged surface. It made the armor grander than what it already was.

It wasn’t designed for a woman, Solene thought for certain, but she chose this armor because it reminded her of the shade of her hair. It reminded her also that she could be her own knight-in-shining armor in this tournament to the death.
