CHAPTER SIXTEEN

"Victor," Freda began, her voice soft yet tinged with excitement. "There's something I need to discuss with you. It's about Sandra."

My brows furrowed, my mind still consumed with thoughts of how we were going to put bring down the Nosferatu vampires.

"Is it my college colleague?"

"Yes, the blonde young lady who apparently seems to be very fond of you."

"What about her, Freda? Is something wrong?"

Freda shook her head, a small smile playing on her lips. "No, nothing is wrong per se. In fact, it's quite the opposite. I've been observing Sandra closely using my locator spell ever since you bit her, and I've noticed something remarkable."

My interest was piqued. Sandra, my dear friend whom I had turned into a werewolf just over a month ago, had been adapting well to her new life. She had embraced her newfound strength and agility. But I had yet to fully grasp the extent of her potential.
