Ario POV

We stood in front of the palace. Although we broke it down, we didn’t reconstruct it; we left it like that. But we didn’t break the palace to pieces; someone can still live inside.

“Let’s go in,” I said, climbing a rock. Will Selene really stay here? Well, this is the only place in the kingdom she could possibly hide.

“Take the left,” I said to the guards, and they bowed. Now it was just Brandon and me. We walked around, trying to get a scent or anything.

“Do you really think she will be here?” he asked.

“That is what Mabel said; she should be here or she left after finding out, we know,” I said. He sighed.

“We really can’t get rid of her,” he said. Well, we all thought she was dead, so I understand him.

“But what happens if she is here?” he asked.

“Capture her before she causes more trouble,” I said. He scoffed.

“Selene is not that easy to capture; she is powerful,” he said. I rolled my eyes.

“She is powerful, but I am more powerful, and I have you,” I said. He chuckled.

“I
