Chapter 23: Jax - My true form
Sky’s reaction did not make any sense. She seemed terrified of me.
The force field. Dammit, why did I bring her here?. The force field had stripped me of my glamour and showed her my true form. No wonder it scared her. Even I feared my demonic form.
I froze on the spot. Worry washing over me. Would she forever see the demon inside of me from now on, even though that wasn’t who I was?
I took a deep breath and put my hand through my hair. “I’m not the monster you saw inside the dome. The dome removes all the magic of anyone that’s inside it. That means that when I stepped inside, the magic stripped away my human form, that is created by magic in a sense. It showed my true form, my demon side. If I had thought about it, I would have warned you, but I am still me.”
