AURORA'S POISON

‘I can’t seem to have enough of this sight’, Aurora said. She was at her favorite spot in the whole of Bellona kingdom, at Biase Mountain, the highest point in the kingdom. Of all the magical sights within her universe, this struck her the most. The view was a magnetosphere decorating the sky with a blend of graceful colors, a glorious ray of interwoven colors of different shades stitched into the sky. From whence, her name ‘Aurora’ was coined, as the spot was known as Aurora Biase. She always wondered if her keen admiration of the view was as a result of their shared name. The magnificent display of dynamic patterns of brilliant lights , which appeared as a curtain in the southern realm, as spirals in the Northern realm, as rays and flickers of varying colors in the Western and Eastern realms of the Kingdom which lit up the skies of the Kingdom, which had no respect to time. 

Biase Mountain was at the center of it all, hovering over all realms. It was said that this ray of light was a direct path to the founding fathers of the universe as they resided in the most magnificent part of the universe. Basking in the brilliance of the view, she wondered what the other four parallel universes seemed like, was it as breathtaking as Bellona? Was it more magical than the universe she’d always known? It was believed that there were five parallel universes: Juno, Hebe, Enyo, Vulcan and Bellona all interconnected by the blood of the founding fathers. Bellona was the central universe, to which the other four parallel universes were connected and revolved around.

 In early times, every creature could access the pathway, gaining entrance into the five parallel universes. The first was Juno kingdom with its heaven like glory. It was said that creatures with birthing abilities travelled down there to pray and make known their heart desires to the goddess of birth and new life whose home was within the kingdom. Hebe kingdom was known for its fountain of youth. Creatures travelled from far and wide to gain access to the fountain of youth created by the goddess of youth and beauty who resided there. The Enyo realm was known for its magnificent rocks and precious stones as well as its inhabitants who possessed unimaginable strength. The precious stones served as means of exchange which was highly sought after by all creatures outside the kingdom. Vulcan was known as the hottest of all realms, its temperature was said to burn the souls of her beings, it was known for its vast land of deserts and volcanoes across its kingdom. The inhabitants were said to be the best blacksmith’s across the universe, attracting creatures who were looking to acquire the most valuable metalwork. Bellona being the heart of all universe, was known to be the most beautiful across the universe, its beauty was second to none as it had , it was said that magic residues in its crust and its gracious sky is the habitats of the founding fathers. Every creature desired to abide in it, as they wish to be closer to the fathers.

Over the years, creatures and beings across the universe sought to gain control over each other. Their collective greed leads to several wars which severed the ties among them. Millions of creatures and beings were wiped off the universe. This displeased the founders greatly, causing the gateway to be sealed and the universe to be restructured to   prevent non-habitants to gain access to their neighboring universe. The magical beings were sent to Juno universe, the humans to Hebe universe, the giants were sent to the Enyo realm and the hybrid to the Vulcan realm. Bellona being the central force of all five universe, was restructure to have a balance of all beings and creatures, living in harmony just as the initial plan. The memories and thought of the parallel universe was wiped off from all creatures except the chosen royal blood and guardians bloodlines. The royal blood was given the gifts of mind thwarting as well as body transformation to any being, to enable them rule all five universe discreetly. Meanwhile, the guardian was given the absolute right to the pathway, as their blood is the only substance to open the sealed gateway.

Aurora’s phone buzzed beside her, bringing her out of her thought. It was a text from her best friend Hephzibah, who was half girl half mermaid hybrid, which read ‘AURORA TO BELLONA, I know you are at your spot again but hope you know tomorrow is founder’s day and we haven’t selected an outfit for it’. Oops I forget that, she said. Picking herself up, she texted her, ‘Meet you at the royal mall’. After which, she teleported herself to the mall.
