Lorena Cortes were busy roaming her eyes around the office. She’s astounded with the style and designs that are imprinted through the walls. After a minute, she then decided to looked at us.

Walang halo na kahit ano ang tingin niyang iyon. It’s just plain. Ibang-iba sa kaniyang ipinakita noong birthday ni Lolo at noong pumunta kami sa bahay niya.

“Let’s take a seat, shall we?” pang-aaya ko.

Agad itong sumunod at ako naman ay inalalayan si Bea. When we are all settled to our respective seats, she began to talk.

“I came here peacefully and without intention of causing a scene or harm to the both of you…”

Tahimik lamang kaming nakikinig ni Bea habang nakalagay sa aking hita ang magkahawak namin na mga kamay. She was also the one who commanded me to stay here beside her dahil baka raw may gawin si Lorena. My babe is tense, but she still manage to speak.

“Ano po ba ang pakay ninyo sa amin… o sa akin?”
