Author's POV:

The excitement outside the orphanage was contagious. The workers and older children waited outside for the arrival of the Triplets. Melanie joined a coworker with ginger hair who stood out front with a great view.

In a matter of minutes, the Triplets made their entrance. They were followed by an entourage of black cars, including the Alpha of the Silver Pack and his followers. From an upstairs window, Mia watched the cars as they parked, forming a long line.

Guards filed out of the cars and walked over to three other black cars. Mia guessed that it must belong to the Triplets. After all, it looked much more expensive than the other cars lined up. But just as the front door was being opened, a little kid pulled Mia's hand asking for her attention.

“Oh, what's wrong?” She asked, following after him and leaving her view at the window. One of the Triplets stepped out.

“It’s Alpha Jackson,” one of the workers muttered.

Jackson was the first to step out. He wore an impeccable black button-down shirt and black trousers. The sleeve of the shirt was folded up his biceps, showing his impressive muscles and tattoos. He was wearing a sleek black shade as well and his black hair looked like it was wet.

The women swooned, trying to hide the gushes and blushes. Alpha Jackson was a sight to behold.

The next car held Jaxon. He stepped out causing the people waiting to gasp and talk among themselves; the men included.

“Alpha Jaxon is so hot…” Someone muttered.

He was considered the calm and collected one of all the Triplets. He wore a brown t-shirt, tucked into his navy blue pants. If anyone else had done this, they would probably have been seen as a nerd but on Jaxon, he looked like a Greek god.

He had on a similar eyeglass like Jackson's except his was tinted brown and black. His dark was slicked and parted with gel. He looked like he was from old money.

Mia could hear the commotion and the chatter but her attention was on the younger kids. She couldn't care less what was happening out there anymore.

“Alpha Jace!” One girl squealed just as the last Triplet got out of his car.

He wore a blue shirt, matched with khaki trousers and transparent glasses. His hair was a tousled mess but it added to his overall charm. He was the only one of them to offer a sweet smile to the crowd.

Alpha Jace was rumored to be the sweetest of the Triplets. A few people almost fainted at the sight of his smile.

The manager took that moment to step forward, a smile on her face as she approached them. She held out her hand to greet Jaxon since he stood in the center.

“Welcome, Alpha Jaxon, Jackson and Jace.” She said, shaking each of them one by one. “We're honored to have you here.”

Jackson barely paid attention to her. For some reason, his eyes found the window Mia had been standing mere minutes ago. He knew it was the playroom for the younger kids but he didn't understand why his attention was pulled there.

Jace offered a smile. “Thank you for having us.”

A few of the bolder kids stepped forward behind the manager. She smiled. “The kids have been looking forward to meeting you today. You're an inspiration for them. They want to be Alphas like you when they grow up.”

“Oh, is that so?” Jaxon asked. He towered over everyone there, he and his brother at 6 feet 4 inches. He leaned down slightly and looked at them as nicely as he could. “You want to be like us as you grow up?”

They nodded their heads sheepishly.

“It's not going to be easy. It's a lot of work but if you're determined, any of you can be Alphas like us.”

Just then, Alpha James and his Beta Hudson stepped out of their cars. They were also welcomed but not as grandly as the Triplets. It was expected. The Triplets had a better reputation than the whole Silver pack combined.

“You looked tired,” Alpha James muttered as he watched Alpha Jaxon address the children. “Didn't sleep well?”

Hudson sighed. “It's the girl that's pregnant for me.” He rubbed a hand over his tired face and adjusted the collar of his simple shirt.

“Huh, the new missus is already causing troubles for you?” Alpha James asked.

“Not really. She moved in, and my mother and sister love her. The problem is she wants to get married immediately.”

“How is that a problem?”

Hudson made eye contact with Melanie at that point. She looked at him with no emotion before her attention was taken elsewhere. “I just got out of my marriage with Mia. It's too soon, you know.”

“You're holding back, Hudson. You let go of Mia. You can't use her as an excuse for not taking the new missus now. It's not just fair.” Alpha James said, shaking his head and walking ahead.

“If any of you need training, you can come to me or any of my brothers,” Jace said, causing the children to widen their eyes and clap.

“This way, sirs.” The manager reminded them, gesturing at the grand entrance of the orphanage.

The Triplets took the lead, walking into the orphanage as the others followed behind them. The moment they stepped in, they froze.

“Did you…” Jace asked, trailing off.

“Did I feel that strange sensation as we walked in? Yes, I fucking did.” Jackson growled, turning to look around.

“So we all felt it then,” Jaxon added. “Something's here, or someone...”

“Is anything wrong, sirs?” The manager asked, wondering why they had stopped by the entrance.

Jaxon immediately lifted his hands to silence her as they tried to concentrate. A scent immediately wafted through the air, wrapping itself around them until all they could smell was the captivating scent.

“Can you smell that?” Jaxon exhaled out.

“I think it's coming from upstairs,” Jace said.

“Fu*king hell,” Jackson swore. They couldn't control themselves. They were completely entrapped by the scent.

They were intoxicated. And they wanted more.
