Chapter 51: A Battle for Success

"Veena!"

"Veena!"

She gasped and opened her eyes. Her vision was filled with Lois' tear-filled eyes.

"Thank God! You're alright. I don't know what to do if anything ever happens to you and to our baby." Lois pressed his forehead on to her own. Wet tears pattering on her cheeks.

She noticed the wound on his arm. Her heart broke to see him injured.

"Lois your arm..."

"I'm alright. I'll have it treated once Felix finishes fixing the car."

The hood of the car was lifted and Felix's white shirt was dirty with grease. Abby was standing beside him acting like his little mechanic assistant.

"Did we lose those guys?" Veena asked.

"Yes, they didn't follow us into the woods. I've already called for back up. Whoever those guys are they'll definitely face my wrath."

"Could it be one of your enemies? The Sullivans?"

"I doubt they will have the guts to do that. They're busy saving their own reputation."

Veena couldn't think of anyone else with a grudge over them. Whoever it will be, they will
